Want to be happy? Live near a park. Researchers at the University of Exeter found that people living in greener areas were consistently more satisfied, and experienced less distress.
I can agree on their idea:
parks—and other green spaces—make people feel better about themselves.
My house is located on very central part of Tokyo, but it’s pretty comfortable to live in, because Big-Shinjuku Gyoen Park is very close. I once heard, CO2 elimination is lower around our neighbor, because of many trees at Gyoen Park. (Traffic amount is so many though.)
